Water is the basis of all life on the planet yet many of us take it for granted.
We simply turn on the tap and expect water to appear. Some parts of the world do not always
enjoy this privilege.
Within these pages, several local residents and organisations endeavour to highlight the
many issues facing Dacorum where consumption of water exceeds the reserves in the underlying
chalk aquifer for adequate provision.
